About

A publication for unsayable thoughts.

Harsh Truths began as a refusal. After years of performing inherited beliefs — about health, about justice, about who I was supposed to be — the performance stopped working. I started writing what I actually thought, instead of what I'd been told to think.

The essays here are the trail of that refusal. They question consensus on the body, the spirit, and the basic right to disagree with what every screen is telling you. They land for some readers and offend others — both responses are useful.

I may not know what it is. I know what it is not.
